Which option do you prefer?

1. Push the draft to August this year and allow the standard minor league requirements as well as allowing any player drafted this year in MLB and currently under contract to be eligible. If the player has not started minor league ball but is under contract, he will get a Rookie-level contract. I feel this would offset the players who lost their eligibility due to the delay, as well as strengthening the NABL Draft for 2011.

2. Push the draft to August and allow AAA players this year ONLY. This would allow some players to be called up to the majors between now and then, thus keeping the majority of lower minor league players eligible while also ensuring some depth for the NABL Draft.

3. Keep eligibility backdated (likely to July 1st so you guys can prepare) but this only works if someone can find us a website that easily shows promotion/demotion dates, etc. In the absence of this resource, I don’t think we can have this as an option. I am going to be away from Tuesday until July 11th. I will give you guys that time to try and find such a site.
